We would like to inform you about some important changes for passengers at Geneva Airport (GVA).

The Airport has recently restricted the access between the French and the Swiss sector for the customers within the Terminal 1, with some new rules.
We wanted to inform you about this as such changes may create issues to our common customers who are not aware about this.

Only customers which have a valid boarding card of the day (arrival or departure) can go through this customs "Swiss/France", within the Terminal 1.
All other customers will not be able to cross the border from inside the Airport to go to the French sector and will have to cross the border to France via main the road!

Potential restricted passengers to cross Terminal 1 border to go to French Sector:
-       Arrival via Swiss Public transportation without a boarding pass of the day
-       CFF/SBB train arrivals within the Airport without a boarding pass of the day
-       Situation of return of the car before or after the return flight
-       customers which do not have any flight ticket of the day
